AI for Accessibility

In teams of 2-4, show us how Artificial Intelligence can be used to create a more accessible world.

AI for Accessibility Challenge

Show off your creativity while making a real-life impact! We are looking for students with big ideas to take on this challenge: Show us how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used to create a more accessible world for everyone.

AI is a trending topic in tech – and we want you to put it to work. Come up with an idea of how AI can be used to serve people with disabilities and remove barriers to accessibility. You could win devices from Microsoft and cash prizes! Your ideas may even inspire others to innovate and encourage widespread access to accessible technology.

All post-secondary students are encouraged to join, no technology background is necessary. Our training opportunities, resources and expert mentors are here to help you throughout the challenge. Join a team or register one today.

We have broken this challenge down into 6 accessibility categories. Your team can select one or multiple categories to address:

  • Hearing
  • Sight
  • Mental Health
  • Physical
  • Neurodiversity
  • Learning
